Moving On

I never thought we'd leave this house. I'm not sure why I thought that. It must be the floors. Damn, I love these floors.

Also, the back yard can't be beat.

And the location is pretty stellar, only 10 minutes to Downtown Orlando, 5 minutes to the expressway.

But, it’s not quite the family neighborhood we envisioned raising our kid(s) in. Surprise, yep, we’re expecting our second child this summer! Another little boy. So, it’s time to find a neighborhood with parks, sidewalks, bicycle paths, and community activities.

We are moving to an adorable little town with an active Main Street with restaurants and shops. It has a definite hometown feel.

And the neighborhood is wonderful. Tons of green spaces, parks, pools and other amenities. It’s new construction, but the houses aren't typical suburban, Florida stucco. They have historic styles and old-Florida charm. All the houses have big front porches and we're hopeful we can spend time enjoying life and getting to know our neighbors, while relaxing on our porch swing or in our rocking chairs. Needless to say, we are excited for our next chapter.
